We are an Oklahoman State Licensed Breeding Program License #356 through the Department of Agriculture, Food, & Forestry.
A STATE LICENSED FACILITY: being licensed by the state of Oklahoma as a commercial breeding program, we undergo inspections, pay fees, and taxes, follow all state regulations on housing, health, feeding, record keeping, and maintaining a clean, sterilized, health-focused environment for our breeding program. You can feel secure with our program knowing we put your puppies health as our top priority. Each dog has its own living quarters, as well as open yard play time, with training activities and lots and lots of hands on love and attention from our large dog loving family.
The first section of the kennel complex is what is called the main quarters. This is where all the dogs get their own section in which they can either enjoy outside sunlight and fresh air or just relax in the shade. Metal roofs above, clean dry dog houses to sleep in, and daily cleaned first thing every morning. Our dogs health, care, and well being are our top priority. For the summer months, misters and sprinklers, and kiddie pools. For the winter months, fresh straw, wired heat lamps, and water warmers.
The second section is the whelping and nursing facility. Here, our mothers are isolated from the other dogs so they are comfortable and have a stress free pregnancy. This part also has its own drain system for easy cleaning. This means the dogs are always in a clean and sanitary environment. This also eliminates sicknesses related to dogs not being kept in those conditions. There is also a central air and heating unit in the main quarters to keep the dogs comfortable at any time of the year The mothers are given vitamins during the pregnancy to ensure their pups will be as healthy as they can be when they are born. The pups are hand delivered and cared for until ready for departure. They are well socialized and are made sure that they will have the best care by its new owner through screenings of interested clients. No pup will be sold for illegal or cruel purposes. All pups are vaccinated and de-wormed before leaving for its new home. It is accompanied with a puppy pack that includes registration papers (UKC, ADBA, ABKC) shot records, and a small bag of food to keep them on the same diet. There is a health guarantee on all pups, meaning that it is the new owners responsibility to have the puppy checked out buy a vet once they receive the pup. There is a 72 hour time period for which this should be done.
The third section is the open (shaded) area exercise and working field. This is where the dogs spend most of their time. Pitbull’s are very active and athletic dogs so here at Big Star we make sure that our dogs get the proper exercise they need to help keep them in great condition. We give each dog the opportunity to run and socialize with other dogs to keep them in a good mind frame. As well as playing with our young children, family and visiting friends, and our many other fur baby friends. This is great for their temperaments and great for their bodies in all. We also walk our dogs along trails over an 80 acre spread, therefor interacting with livestock, horses, chickens, and other free roaming animals. This enables our dogs and puppies to grow up familiar with other animals they may encounter once they leave our home and kennel. Here they are worked on with their stacking, training, and socialization skills.
The fourth section are the individual outside puppy play pens. All concrete, watering systems, drainage systems, easy to clean, sanitize, and to monitor puppy play time away from mom. After whelping, puppies are moved outside to play, and to learn inside vs outside skills.
The fifth section our newly built separate building facility for whelping and puppy growth and development.

Visitation: Due to our home owners insurance policy guidelines, and our need to protect our home, our dogs, and our kennel, we do not allow visits at this point in time. We do however provide live video feed through facebook, videos, pictures, and at times when available we will meet with the parents in a public park. Puppy pickup locations are in a public location.
